Upper Falls tends to be overshadowed by the Lower Falls further downstream, but this impressive 110ft waterfall holds its own in terms of scenery and magnitude. You can get satisfying views of the falls from the Uncle Tom's Overlook near the car park for the Uncle Tom's Trail (on the South Rim Drive). Behind the waterfall sits the Canyon Bridge (I think I've also seen it called the Chittenden Bridge as well) for scale. On the north rim, there is a lookout called Brink of Upper Falls, which sits at the end of a dedicated spur road leaving the Grand Loop Road between the South Rim Drive junction and the Canyon Village. A walk from here takes you right up to the top of the waterfall where you can experience the power of this impressive falls.
